Your project will be assessed on the extent to which it:
Draws from relevant school data - qualitative and quantitative, to identify area/s for improvement
Plans to use relevant data to monitor and evaluate ongoing progress
Uses an action learning process ie: provides a plan with clear goals and targets and with action steps to address the identified need
Includes critical reflection on teachers’ current classroom practice
Is consistent with the theoretical basis of the Archdiocesan Literacy and Numeracy Position
Embraces the use of ICLT / multiliteracies.

How reading is taught and why it is more than reading the right words on the page (sight words, sounding out, etc) to become better at understanding the text and developing good reading comprehension.
